Meditation is deeply rooted in the Christian tradition. The task of meditation is to bring our distracted mind to stillness, silence, and attentiveness. It is simply the work we do to dispose ourselves for the gift of contemplation, where we go beyond words, thoughts, and images into the loving awareness of Jesus deep within our hearts. Silence is the language of the Holy Spirit.
In order to support our commitment to daily meditation, people of the Bay Area gather weekly for the ancient practice of Christian Meditation, seeking in silence the presence of God.
