When a loved one dies, you grieve their loss. When you lose your job, your home, or even a family pet you grieve a loss. Your grieving is a normal and natural reaction to your loss, and is necessary to the healing process. Seek support, hope, and healing from your faith, family, friends, and parish community.
St. Bernadette Church Grief and Loss Support Group, facilitated by spiritual directors, provides the opportunity to learn about the grief process, share your loss and emotions, and spend special time with others who have experienced a similar loss in support and in prayer. Regardless of when the loss occurred, the Bereavement Ministry is here to help.
Beginning in 2023 the Grief and Loss Support Group will no longer be meeting on the second Tuesday of the month. We will begin a new program called Seasons of Hope: A Support Group for the Bereaved. It is a six consecutive week program. Our next series will begin on Saturday, June 3rd beginning at 9am.
Seasons of Hope is centered on Jesus Christ and grounded in the healing wisdom, tradition, and practice of the Catholic Church. For those searching for hope, a Seasons of Hope group is a nurturing link to the Church, the Almighty, and other people of faith who are also mourning.
We are requesting individual to register at least one week prior to a six-week session series of Seasons of Hope. You can register by completing the form below or by calling Deacon Kevin Woodvine. 281-486-0337 ext 104
