The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. It was founded by Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882. It was named in honor of the explorer Christopher Columbus. All the good works performed are rooted in our four core principles; Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

AA is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership. They are self-supporting through their own contributions; is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. The primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

The Carmeliters are a group of senior citizens who meet at St. Bernadette Church in Houston. Any person 55 or older may be a member. The club is non-denominational and open to all. The meetings are held at 10:00 am on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

CLBB practices and plays many of their games at the St. Bernadette Church gym. The regular season is for boys grades 3 through 6. The second season is for boys grades 7 through 12.
